Samsung has officially launched a new special edition Galaxy Z Fold 6 in South Korea. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has long been rumored but has finally debuted with key upgrades in the design, camera, and display departments.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is thinner and lighter than the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Moreover, it also features an upgraded primary camera sensor and a larger internal and cover display. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition Price

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition price in South Korea starts from KRW 2,789,600 (roughly Rs. 1,70,000). It is offered in a single 16GB/512GB configuration and a Black Shadow shade.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition will go on sale in South Korea from October 25. As of now, there is no word on the availability of the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition outside in India and globally.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition Specifications

Samsung's special edition foldable smartphone features most of the same specifications as the Galaxy Z Fold 6, which was unveiled back in August. The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The phone runs Android 14-based OneUI 6.0 with Samsung's AI suite, Galaxy AI.

The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition sports a larger 8-inch internal Dynamic AMOLED display with HDR10+ support. The screen features LTPO technology with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, it also sports a 6.5-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED cover display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

For optics, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition gets an upgraded 200MP primary sensor with OIS support. The main camera is paired with a 12MP ultrawide lens and a 10MP telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom and OIS support. The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition opts for a 4MP selfie camera on the internal display and a 10MP shooter on the cover screen.

The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition also packs a 4,400 mAh battery with 25W wired and 15W wireless fast charging support. The phone will also feature an IP48 rating for resistance to dust and an IPX8 rating for water resistance. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is 1.5mm thinner than the Z Fold 6 and around 3 grams lighter. Moreover, it continues to feature the same build as the Z Fold 6.
