Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition Pre-Order Details Surface in Korea
Samsung's anticipated Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, previously expected to launch on September 25, appears to have a new release timeline. According to a leak from a Korean retailer, pre-orders for the device may begin in mid-October, signaling that the phone could arrive a month later than initially predicted.
Pre-Order and Release Date Leaks
Originally rumored for a September 25th launch, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition (or whatever its final name will be) appears to be getting a later release.

According to T-store, pre-orders in Korea could begin on October 18th, ending a week later on October 24th. This would be followed by an official release on October 25th.

What's in a Name?
However, there are reasons to be skeptical. First, the very name "Galaxy Fold6 Special Edition" used by T-store seems off. It could be a simple typo, the actual marketing name, or even a mistake altogether. Additionally, the retailer hasn't provided any details on the phone's specifications or design, further fueling the uncertainty.
Adding to the confusion, Samsung India previously called their Enterprise Galaxy Z Fold 6 a "Special Edition," creating some overlap in terminology. The leaked image used by T-store also resembles the standard Fold 6, raising questions about whether this is truly the Special Edition variant.
A Refined Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition?
Despite the uncertainties, rumors suggest the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition could boast a larger internal folding screen (8 inches), a slimmer profile (10.6mm when folded), and a powerful 200-megapixel main camera, surpassing the standard Fold 6 launched in July.
What to Expect?
For now, the October 25 release date seems plausible, but until Samsung officially announces the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, these details should be taken with caution. Whether the phone offers substantial upgrades or is simply a minor variant of the Galaxy Z Fold6 remains to be seen.
