Samsung Galaxy J7 Plus launched: Second Samsung device to feature dual cameras
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Plus comes with a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display.
Samsung has quietly launched a new smartphone in Thailand. Dubbed as the Galaxy J7 Plus or Galaxy J7+, it is the only Samsung device with dual cameras except the Galaxy Note 8.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Plus is a mid-range smartphone like the Galaxy J7 (2017) and the Galaxy J7 Pro. Available in Black, Gold and Pink colors, it is priced at THB 12,900 (approximately Rs. 25,000). Pre-orders for the smartphone has already started in Thailand. Customers who will pre-order the Galaxy J7 Plus will additionally get a Samsung U Flex Bluetooth Headset. There is no word on global availability of the phone yet.
As far the specs are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Plus comes with a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display. Under its hood, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P20 processor. The chipset is clubbed with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The storage space can be further expanded up to 256GB with the use of a microSD card.
As we have already mentioned earlier, the rear dual camera setup is the key highlight of the Samsung Galaxy J7 Plus. There is a 13MP main sensor with the aperture of f/1.7 and a 5MP secondary sensor with the aperture of 1.9. The latter one is mainly for taking care of the depth of field aspect. Notably, users can adjust the background blur of an image after capturing it.
The vertically arranged rear camera sensors are accompanied by a LED flash. While up front, there lies an f/1.9 16MP selfie camera with its own LED flash light.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Plus runs on Android Nougat OS and is backed up by a 3,000mAh battery. The phone also features a front-facing fingerprint scanner for added security.
We hope the Galaxy J7 Plus soon makes its way to other markets as well.
