Samsung is working hard to differentiate its high-end smartphone in the market and take the battle to its utmost rival, Apple. A new Samsung patent has surfaced which hints at the possibility of a fold-able display of future Galaxy Note handsets.
This is not the first time we are hearing about the fold-able display project by Samsung. Few week back SamMobile reported that the Samsung is working on a new smartphone codenamed as Project Valley, which is in the early stages of development featuring dual screens and support multiple gestures. The face that the Project Valley suggests that it could be a fold-able device.
Back in late 2014, Lee Chang-hoon, VP of Business Strategic at Samsung Display said the company will be able to "supply products with fold-able displays' by sometime in the end of 2015 or the start of 2016.
The patent shows an illustration on how the dual display handset will be able to open in close in different configuration. It also reveals that the company may use this design and the form factor in tablets.
