Samsung One UI 8.5 Update Rolls Out to Galaxy S25, S24, S23 Series, and Z Series Foldables Globally
Samsung has officially expanded the stable One UI 8.5 rollout beyond its latest flagship smartphones. After debuting in South Korea earlier this month and gradually reaching global markets, the update is now rolling out to older flagship devices and select mid-range models as well.
The first devices to receive the stable One UI 8.5 update included the Samsung Galaxy S25 series and Samsung's latest foldables. The rollout has now expanded to the Samsung Galaxy S24 and Samsung Galaxy S23 lineups, alongside the Samsung Galaxy A56.

Samsung has not yet confirmed the complete eligibility list, but the update is expected to reach several older Galaxy flagships and upper mid-range devices in phases.
Meanwhile, Samsung is already working on its next major software release. The company recently opened the One UI 9 beta program for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 series. The stable version is expected to debut alongside Samsung's next-generation foldables around July 2026.
