Samsung Vietnam, claims that Tizen could go for a revolution in 2016. The company said that it will actively take interest in the Tizen Phones. The OS has been around for a while, though it has not been as popular as Google's android platform. The Tizen OS has been available on a couple of entry-level phones and on wearable. Samsung's Z1 and Z3 have been running on Tizen's light weight platform. Moreover, the Samsung Z Series have turned out to be a good testing ground for the Tizen OS, allowing users and developers to use it in all the possible ways.
The Tizen ecosystem has been rapidly growing and is enjoying the support from developers. Samsung has been pushing and backing Tizen. The Tizen OS with its Tizen Store already is home to several popular apps like apps from Facebook. It also has a VLC player, Whatsapp among others. Samsung is yet to popularize the Tizen OS unlike its hot selling Android Phones.

The Tizen is yet to get a proper hardware. If things turn out to b well for the Tizen OS based phones, its possible that some of the Samsung Z series phones could have very improved hardware in their upcoming versions. There were earlier reports of Samsung wanting to entirely do away with its Android phones and focus on Tizen, but that has not turned out to be true. We can expect new handsets from Samsung that are based on Tizen OS with tweaks and improvements.
