Samsung Galaxy S7 reported to come in two variants including a Dual-Edge display
Samsung S7 is expected to launch almost 8-10 months from now, but there are already a ton of rumours regarding the device floating around.
First revelation regarding the device came from Korea, stating that Samsung is testing out the Galaxy S7 with different SoC - one with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and the other with Exynos 8890. Now a new report coming from SamMobile states that the Korean electronics giant will indeed launch two variant of the S7, but with different externals.

The report claims that Samsung S7 will come in a normal display variant along with a dual edged variant like the S6 Edge+. Samsung S6 Edge+ launched a month back at the Unboxed Event of Samsung, and has gained quite a fan fare round the world. So it's obvious that Samsung want to carry over the hype towards it Galaxy S7.
In accordance to the previous report, Samsung is planning to launch one of the variants with a Qualcomm SD820 while the other will boast of latest gen Exynos SoC. Tech analysts at Gizbot believe that then flat display variant of the S6 will get the Exynos SoC taste, while the SD820 will be reserved for the S7 with edged display.
Considering the delay in the launch of Snapdragon 820, Samsung may even launch the S7 edged variant a little later, just like the way they did with the S6. The flat display variant is dubbed as SM-G930, the dual edged variant carries a model no of SM-G935.
The project S7 is reportedly being called as Project Lucky in Samsung's homeland. Previous reports though suggested a different name - Project Jungfrau. Internally Samsung is referring the S7 as Hero while the S7 dual edged variant is dubbed the Hero 2. The report further adds that the S7 will be coming with the company's very own UFS 2.0 flash storage and a dual rear camera setup.
There's still a chance of seeing a 20MP ISOCELL camera unit on the back, in case the dual rear camera setup doesn't make it to the final pre-production version. Moreover the microSD card slot too is expected to make a reappearance, thereby bringing smiles to millions of Samsung fans worldwide!
