Samsung Set to Launch New 5G Phones Soon in India; Support Pages Go Live

Samsung is expected to launch a few affordable 5G smartphones soon in India namely -- Galaxy A06 5G, F06 5G, F16 5G, and M16 5G. While the exact launch timeline is yet to be announced, support pages for these mentioned models have gone live on the Samsung India website, suggesting an imminent launch. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming Samsung phones.

Samsung to Launch New 5G Phones Soon in India

MySmartPrice spotted four new Samsung smartphones with model numbers - SM-A066B/DS, SM-E066B/DS, SM-E166P/DS, and SM-M166P/DS. While Samsung India's support page doesn't reveal the marketing names of the upcoming phones, the Bluetooth SIG listing revealed that the SM-A066B/DS and SM-E066B/DS are associated with the Galaxy A06 5G and Galaxy F06 5G monikers.

On the other hand, the SM-E166P/DS and SM-M166P/DS model numbers are expected to come with the Galaxy F16 5G and Galaxy M16 5G monikers. All four models also received BIS certification.

Samsung Upcoming Phones

The Geekbench listing reveals the Galaxy A06 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. It might run on Android 15 with One UI 7. The Galaxy F06 5G is expected to share identical specifications as the Galaxy A06 5G. Both phones could feature a 6.7-inch LCD screen, a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP selfie snapper, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.

The Galaxy F16 5G was also spotted on the Geekbench with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM. It is tipped to run Android 14 out of the box. Moreover, the Galaxy F16 5G and Galaxy M16 5G are tipped to be a rebrand of the Galaxy A16 5G, which was launched last year with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a 50MP primary camera, and 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging support priced at Rs 18,999.

Since all are speculations, it's better to take it with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for the official confirmation.
