Leaks and rumours suggest that Samsung's tri-fold phone will be launched in the third quarter of this year, while component production will begin in Q2 2025. As far as the features are concerned, the Samsung Tri-fold is expected to come with a display between 9.9 to 10 inches when unfolded, ensuring a tablet-like experience.
The phone is also tipped to feature a G-type folding mechanism, which folds the screen into three inward parts and is designed to protect the display, while its competitor Huawei's Mate XT has an S-shaped design.
Another leak suggests Samsung aims for just 200,000 units of its Tri-fold phone this year. In addition to its model, the company is reportedly launching three more foldable phones -- the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, and the Galaxy Z Flip FE.
