South Korean giant, Samsung has sent out the press invites for the launch of its new Galaxy C series of smartphones scheduled on May 26th. This event is set to happen next Thursday at 751 D-Park, Beijing and starts at 18:00 China time. Moreover, the rumoured Galaxy C5 and C7 is expected to come with a metal body and fingerprint sensor.
Moving on to the specifications of the device, the Galaxy C5 (SM-C5000) might sport a 5.2-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. On the processor front, it will be powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 processor with Adreno 405 GPU on board. As indicated by the report, the purported Galaxy C5 may come equipped with 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB ROM and expandable memory options.
If the rumor turns out to be true, the C5 smartphones might have a 16MP rear camera with LED flash, 8MP front camera and a fingerprint sensor too. Moreover, some sources suggest that it will ship with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
On the other side, the Galaxy C7 almost shares similar specifications besides 5.5-inch Full HD display, Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor and Adreno 506 GPU. However, there is no information about the battery life, pricing and availability of the device. Meanwhile, both these devices are expected to come in gold, silver, pink and grey variants.
