Samsung’s Upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 & Z Flip 6 To Reportedly Get New Colors

Samsung's highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 foldable phones are expected to be unveiled at their upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event this summer.

Now, a new leak suggests familiar storage options alongside new and returning color choices for both devices.

Color Choices Industry insider Ross Young shared information on the phone's color schemes. The Z Flip 6 is rumored to be available in a wider range of colors including Light Blue, Mint (previously referred to as Light Green), Silver Shadow, and Yellow. This broader color selection might be an attempt to attract a larger audience seeking a stylish introduction to the foldable phone market.

In contrast, the Z Fold 6 seems to target a more professional and enthusiast demographic with a more conservative color palette. The rumored color options for the Z Fold 6 include Dark Blue (now called Navy), Light Pink, and Silver Shadow.

Storage Options Remain Consistent Both phones are expected to retain the same storage options (256GB and 512GB) offered by their predecessors. However, the Z Fold 6 might see the introduction of an additional 1TB storage variant, catering to users with significant storage requirements.

A Cheaper Galaxy Z Fold 6 is Coming Samsung is reportedly gearing up to launch an entry-level version of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 later this year, targeting a more budget-conscious audience. The foldable smartphone is expected to debut around September or October, two to three months after the release of the flagship models.

Shipment Target and Launch Timing The shipment target for the entry-level Galaxy Z Fold 6 is estimated to be between 200,000 to 300,000 units. The launch timing is speculated to be strategically planned to divert attention from the anticipated iPhone 16 series launch, which is likely to take place in September.

Affordable Variant with Downgraded Features The entry-level Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to be more affordable than its flagship counterpart, but it will come with some downgraded features. One notable downgrade is the absence of S Pen support.

The phone is also rumored to be thinner than the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6 model, which is already speculated to be thinner than its predecessor. The omission of the S Pen not only makes the budget Galaxy Z Fold 6 lighter but also contributes to reducing its price.

Upgraded Features and Design Rumors suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will feature a wider cover screen with square corners. A significant upgrade expected in the Fold series is the inclusion of a 200MP primary camera. Both the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 have received certification from BIS, confirming that these two foldable smartphones will be available in India as well.

Official Announcement on the Horizon A recent regulatory filing in India indicates an imminent official announcement for the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. With the Galaxy Unpacked event approaching, anticipation is building for the official unveiling of these devices.
