Smartron signs Anirban Lahiri as its brand ambassador, plans to launch new product in next 15 days

Smartron, India's first global OEM, and IoT brand today said that it has roped Indian golfer Anirban Lahiri as its brand ambassador.

The company has signed a 5-year deal with the golfer as main sponsors for all his tournaments and will support Anirban.

Commenting on the partnership, Mahesh Lingareddy, Founder, and Chairman, Smartron said, "Anirban has gained a lot of popularity outside India as well including the USA and Europe and makes a strong fit with Smartron's brand promise of an Indian technology company with global ambitions."

The association will see Anirban working closely with Smartron to represent the brand and its products at a global stage.

"I am excited to be partnering with Smartron, an innovative India based tech giant with a global vision. Was very impressed with the products, tronX platform, the whole ecosystem they are building and ideas for the future", Anirban Lahiri said.

Smartron had earlier brought Sachin Tendulkar as the brand ambassador and strategic shareholder.

Meanwhile, the company is planning to launch the new product in next 15 days, yes you heard it right as the company's Vice President, Sales, and Marketing Amit Boni took to his Twitter account to tease the possible launch of new products or device.

He said via Twitter,"Another Indian champion is on board. Keep an eye out for exciting stuff that we will bring to you in next 15 days."

In fact, in an interview with Gizbot Lingareddy revealed that "The company will launch four products in January."
