Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-Powered Xiaomi 17 Series Emerges as Best-Performing Smartphones, According to AnTuTu

AnTuTu has unveiled its latest rankings for flagship smartphones, focusing on CPU performance. The evaluations were conducted using AnTuTu V11 beta from September 1 to 30. Leading the list are the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17, all equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. These models were tested in their top storage configurations, boasting 16GB RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max topped the AnTuTu V11 beta benchmark with an average score of 35,07,568 points for CPU performance. Following closely were the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17, scoring 35,03,549 and 34,92,556 points respectively. All three models were launched on September 25 and share the same powerful Snapdragon chip.

Snapdragon Dominance in Flagship Rankings

In fourth place was the iQOO Neo 10 Pro+, achieving an average score of 33,42,128 points. The Vivo X200 Ultra followed in fifth position with a score of 33,24,527 points. Both devices feature last year's Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and offer up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage capacity.

Following these were the Red Magic Magic 10S Pro+, Oppo Find X8 Ultra Satellite Edition, and Honor GT Pro. These phones also utilise the same chipset as iQOO and Vivo's flagships but differ slightly in RAM configurations. Notably, a version of the Red Magic phone with a substantial 24GB RAM was tested.

MediaTek's Sole Representation

Among the ten flagship Android smartphones evaluated by AnTuTu, nine utilised Snapdragon chips while only one featured a MediaTek SoC. The Vivo X200s stood out as it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset. It achieved ninth place with a CPU performance score of 3,063,873 points.

The Redmi K80 Pro rounded off the list in tenth place with a score of 2,948,253 points. This model is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. Despite being at the bottom of this list, it still showcases impressive performance capabilities.

This ranking highlights Snapdragon's strong presence in high-performance smartphones. With most devices on this list featuring Snapdragon processors, it underscores their continued dominance in delivering top-tier mobile processing power.
