As promised, the Japan-based tech company Sony has started rolling out the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for Xperia M2 and Xperia M2 Aqua. Anyhow, the update availability will depend upon the market and carrier. This update comes with performance update and other minor bug fixes.

Spec-wise, the Sony-made Xperia M2 Aqua is a mid-range handset with above average specifications. The device comes with a 4.8-inch qHD display having a resolution of 960 x 540-pixels. Like any other budget handset, this very phone features a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of ROM and a microSD card slot.

Also, the makers have added a 2,300mAh battery fitted inside. In the imaging department, it offers an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with Auto Focus and an LED Flash. There's a 1.1MP front camera for selfies. Connectivity options on the handset include: 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, microUSB 2.0, NFA, Bluetooth and more. The phone is running on the latest Android 4.4.
