According to a tweet sent out by Three Ireland (one of the main Irish mobile operators), a new Sony Xperia XZ2 will see the light of day soon. The information was tweeted on February 2 but was deleted later.

As of now, there is no word on what features the alleged smartphone will carry. However, it's likely to retain the 1080p display from its predecessor with a 5.2-inch real estate. Thus, the smartphone will be smaller than the Xperia XZ Pro, which is expected to sport a 5.7-inch 4K display.
