Sony Xperia 1 VII Live Images Surface Online, Reveal Design and Colour Options
Sony seems to be launching a new smartphone soon, called the Xperia 1 VII, which will succeed last year's Xperia 1 VI. While there's no official word regarding this, live images of the phone spotted on Taiwan's National Communications Commission (NCC) website reveal key details, including its design and colour options. Here's what to expect from Sony's upcoming smartphone.
Sony Xperia 1 VII Design Tipped
According to the live images shared by the Japanese publication Sumaho Digest, the phone will be available in black, navy green, and purple colour options.

The Xperia 1 VII appears to have an identical design language to its predecessor, with only minor changes. It continues to feature a triple rear camera setup arranged vertically on the back panel. However, the camera bump appears to be more pronounced this time. Notably, the microphone has been repositioned closer to the earphone jack.
The leaked images also hint that the main camera will be located centrally and will feature an Exmor-T sensor. In terms of size, the Xperia 1 VII is expected to measure 165mm in height and 74mm in width, making it slightly taller than the Xperia 1 VI, which measured 162mm by 74mm.
Earlier leaks suggest that the Xperia 1 VII will retain the same 6.5-inch display as its predecessor, featuring prominent top and bottom bezels. To recall, the Sony Xperia 1 VI was launched with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The next-gen Sony Xperia 1 VII is also expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite chipset. As of now, there is no clue regarding the launch timeline. Stay tuned with us for more information.
