Sony Xperia 10 VII Launched with Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC, 120Hz OLED Display, 50MP Camera, IP68 Rating
Sony has unveiled the Xperia 10 VII, a mid-range 5G smartphone succeeding last year's Xperia 10 VI. The device features a 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC.
The Sony Xperia 10 VII is equipped with an impressive camera setup, including a 50MP main camera with an Exmor RS sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP front-facing camera. Despite housing a robust 5,000mAh battery, the phone weighs only 168 grams. A dedicated shutter button enhances the photography experience by launching the camera instantly.

Enhanced Connectivity and Audio Features
The device boasts improved Bluetooth transmission power, doubling that of its predecessor for better connectivity. During AAC connections, it temporarily adjusts sound quality to prioritise connectivity in crowded areas. This ensures users can enjoy content seamlessly regardless of location, according to Sony.
Audio features include front-facing stereo speakers and support for advanced audio technologies like DSEE Ultimate and Qualcomm aptX adaptive. The phone also offers IP65 and IP68 ratings for water and dust resistance, ensuring durability in various environments.
Specifications and Software
The Sony Xperia 10 VII runs on Android 15 with promises of four OS upgrades and six years of security updates. It comes with 8GB of RAM and offers storage options expandable up to 2TB via microSD. The device supports hybrid dual SIM functionality.
Additional specifications include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a standard audio jack, and several audio certifications such as 360 Reality Audio Certified. Connectivity options cover sub-6GHz 5G, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth version 5.4, GPS/GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C.

The Sony Xperia 10 VII is available in White, Turquoise, and Charcoal Black colours. Priced at approximately Rs. 46,535 or USD 527 (449 Euros), it can be ordered now with availability expected in Europe and the UK later this September.
The phone's dimensions are compact at 153x72x8.3mm. It supports fast charging up to 30W via USB PD along with Xperia Adaptive Charging technology to prolong battery life through features like Battery Care and STAMINA Mode.
Sony's latest offering aims to provide consumers with enhanced performance through its upgraded hardware while maintaining reliability through extended software support.
