Sony Xperia XZ gets Android 7.0 Update: Check Out The New Features
Sony Xperia XZ users can now update their handset to the latest Android 7.0 Nougat mobile OS.
Sony Xperia XZ users can now experience the latest Android 7.0 Nougat update on their smartphones. The company has started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for its recent flagship smartphone, which was launched in September, 2016 at a price of Rs. 51,990.

Besides Sony Xperia XZ, the list of device that are expected to get the latest Android update includes Xperia XA, Xperia XA Ultra, Xperia X Performance, Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia X and Xperia X Compact.

Coming on to the Xperia XZ, the device will now support multi-window mode allowing users to run two apps simultaneously.
The Android 7.0 Nougat update will also offer a new messaging app enabling user to share videos and audio with a few taps.
The Nougat update also promises to offer better security options, improved battery backup along with custom quick setting features.
Besides, other notable features include Quicker multitasking, a Clear All button to the recent apps list, information about the source of the app's installation, new installer information, bundled notifications, notifications importance settings, new data saver, etc.
Sony Xperia XZ is available across all Sony centres and major electronic outlets. The smartphone sports a 5.1-inch Full HD Triluminos display and comes packed with a Snapdragon 820 chipset, which is a quad-core chip and is accompanied with an Adreno 530 chip. There is 3GB RAM and 64GB ROM which is further expandable via microSD card. The smartphone has a water-resistant design and has a 23MP main camera with triple image sensing technology that captures images with three times the precision and a 13MP wide angle front camera.
