Tecno Camon 20 Premier With Dimensity 8050 SoC Launched

Tecno has announced the new Camon 20 series of smartphones, which comprises the vanilla Camon 20, Camon 20 Pro, Camon 20 Pro 5G, and Camon 20 Premier. The Camon 20 lineup succeeds last year's Tecno Camon 19 series.

The most premium offering of the lot, the Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G, sports a leather design and a ceramic camera island at the rear. Here are the full specs of the Camon 20 Premier.

Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G: Features

The most interesting aspect of the Tecno Camon 20 Premier is its camera setup. The smartphone features a 50MP RGBW primary camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) support.

It is accompanied by a 108MP ultrawide camera with a macro lens and autofocus support. There's also a 2MP depth sensor with laser autofocus. Additionally, the smartphone features a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

As far as the video capabilities are concerned, the Tecno Camon 20 Premier's main camera supports 4K videos at 30fps. Meanwhile, the front camera can record 1080p videos at 30fps.

Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G: Processor and Display

Moving on to the processor, the Tecno Camon 20 Premier is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 8050 SoC. The chipset includes four Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores. The processor is accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

The Tecno Camon 20 Premier sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The screen has a refresh rate of 120Hz and comes with an under-display fingerprint scanner. The smartphone features a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W charging.

Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G: Availability

The Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G will first launch in Nigeria for $450 (nearly ₹37,000). The device comes in Serenity Blue and Dark Welkin color options. The brand hasn't announced the availability of the smartphone for other markets.
