Tecno Camon 50 Ultra Launched in India with MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, 144Hz OLED Display, Triple Cameras

Tecno has officially unveiled a new smartphone in its mid-range Camon series in India. To recall, the Camon 50 Ultra made its global debut back in March, arriving as a major upgrade over its predecessors.

Tecno latest mid-ranger, the Camon 50 Ultra, features a large silicon carbon battery, a MediaTek chipset, a super-smooth AMOLED display, and a versatile triple camera setup on the back.

The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra price in India starts from Rs. 39,999. The handset is offered in Cypress Green, Misty Purple, and Nebula Titanium colourways. The Camon 50 Ultra will go on sale in India through Amazon and other partner retailers on July 21.

The company is also introducing a launch offer that includes an instant coupon discount of Rs. 3,000, reducing the effective price of the Tecno Camon 50 Ultra to Rs. 36,999. Additionally, buyers can opt for no-cost EMI plans for up to six months, making the smartphone more affordable.

Tecno Camon 50 Ultra Specifications

Performance is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset. Out of the box, the phone runs Android 16-based HiOS 16. Tecno promises three major operating system upgrades.

For display protection, Tecno uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front. The rear panel is shielded by Gorilla Glass 7i. The screen itself is a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. It delivers a sharp 1.5K resolution and a fluid 144Hz refresh rate.

The photography department includes a versatile triple rear camera setup. The main sensor is a high-resolution 50MP wide lens. This is joined by a 50MP telephoto unit offering 3x optical zoom. It also features optical image stabilisation. An 8MP ultrawide camera completes the versatile rear imaging system. Selfies are handled by a sharp 50MP front-facing camera with autofocus.

The device features a massive 6,500mAh battery designed for multi-day usage. It supports 45W wired fast charging alongside a useful bypass charging feature. This charging technology helps manage heat during intensive tasks like gaming.

The phone steps up its build quality with impressive structural protection. It boasts high-grade IP69K dust and water resistance.
