Tecno Phantom V Flip goes on sale in India today at 12 noon via Amazon: Check Price, Specs

Tecno unveiled its first flip smartphone in India. Now, a couple weeks on and the Tecno Phantom V Flip is officially available for purchase in India.

The Tecno Phantom V Flip recently debuted as India's most affordable flip smartphone, undercutting the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, Moto Razr 40 Ultra, and Oppo Find N2 Flip. However, the Tecno Phantom V Flip will compete against the Moto Razr 40.

Tenco Phantom V Flip Sale, Pricing in India

The Tecno Phantom V Flip price in India is set at Rs 49,999 for the sole 8GB/256GB model. The Tecno Phantom V Flip will be available for purchase in India today from 12 noon as part of an Early Bird sale.

During its launch, Tecno noted that the current pricing of the Phantom V Flip is an early bird price and the foldable could get a higher price tag in the future. The Tecno Phantom V Flip will be available for purchase in India through Amazon.

Tenco Phantom V Flip Specifications

The Tenco Phantom V Flip is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8050 SoC paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Additionally, the unused storage can be used to expand RAM up to 8GB through the Extended Memory software feature. The Phantom V Flip packs a 4,000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

The Tecno Phantom V Flip sports a 6.9-inch FHD+ LTPO AMOLED display with a 22:9 aspect ratio. The panel boasts a 10Hz - 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. The Phantom V Flip opts for a 1.32-inch cover AMOLED screen with an Always-On display feature.

For optics, the Tecno Phantom V Flip gets a dual-camera setup on the back with a 64 MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and PDAF. The main camera is paired with a 13 MP ultrawide lens with autofocus. The phone's hole-punch cutout houses a 32 MP selfie camera.

However, the cover display can also be used a viewfinder to take selfies from the main cameras. Tecno's first clamshell folding smartphone will run on Android 13 with two years of guaranteed OS upgrades and three years of monthly security patches. Moreover, Tecno has also tested its clamshell foldable smartphone for 200,000 flips.
