Tecno Pova 5, Pova 5 Pro To Go On Sale on 22 August in India, Price Confirmed

On August 11, Tecno introduced the Tecno Pova 5 and Tecno Pova 5 Pro to the Indian market. The company has now revealed the prices of these phones along with their availability in the country. These new models come soon after the Tecno Pova 4 series, which had made its debut in December 2022.

The company has also previously revealed key specifications of the phone. Let's take a closer look at the details.

Tecno Pova 5, Pova 5 Pro: Pricing and Availability

T​​he price of the Tecno Pova 5 will start in India at Rs. 11,999. On the other hand, the Tecno Pova 5 Pro will be priced at Rs. 14,999.

The phones are slated to go on sale on August 22, though e-commerce platform Amazon.

Additionally, the company said that customers can avail a Rs. 1,000 discount through a device exchange program. Customers can also take advantage of a no-cost EMI option that extends up to 6 months, while buying the Tecno Pova 5 Series phones.

The colour options available will be Dark Illusions and Silver Fantasy colour options for the Tecno Pova 5 Pro. The Tecno Pova 5 will be available in three colours, Amber Gold, Hurrican Blue, and Mecha Black.

Tecno Pova 5, Pova 5 Pro: Specifications and Details

Both the phones will feature a 6.78-inch full-HD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz.

The base model Pova 5 will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, while the Tecno Pova 5 Pro will be powered by a octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset. They will both have Android 13-based HiOS skin on top.

Both phones also feature a dual camera setup at the back, which include a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an AI lens accompanied by an LED Flash unit. The Pova 5 has a 8 MP front camera, while the Tecno Pova 5 Pro has a 16MP selfie camera.

When it comes to connectivity, both phones will come equipped with 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC connectivity.

The Tecno Pova 5 comes loaded with a 6,000mAh battery, with support for 45W fast charging while the Tecno Pova 5 Pro packs in a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.
