Tecno Pova 6 Neo 5G Affordable Smartphone with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, 120Hz Display Launched in India

The Tecno Pova 6 Neo 5G has officially been unveiled in India. The Pova 6 Neo debuts as the third smartphone in the line-up and follows the likes of the Tenco Pova 6 5G and Pova 6 Pro 5G.

The Tecno Pova 6 Neo 5G debuts as an affordable 5G smartphone with a MediaTek chipset, 120Hz display, a high-res rear camera, stereo speakers, a large battery, and fast charging support. Moreover, it also comes with some AI capabilities.

Tecno Pova 6 Neo 5G Pricing, Availability

The Tecno Pova 6 Neo 5G price in India starts from Rs 13,999 for the base 6GB/128GB model. Additionally, the 8GB/256GB variant costs Rs 14,999. The Pova 6 Neo 5G is offered in Azure Sky, Midnight Shadow and Aurora Cloud colour options.

The Tecno Pova 6 Neo will go on sale in India through Amazon starting September 14. Tecno says customers who purchase the phone will get a free annual OTTPlay subscription worth Rs 6,271, giving you access to 27 OTT platforms.

Tecno Pova 6 Neo 5G Specifications

Tecno's latest affordable 5G smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC paired with the Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Moreveor, storage can be expanded via a microSD card slot.

The Pova 6 Neo 5G sports a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and an Interactive Dynamic Port. Tecno's latest budget smartphone packs a large 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The handset runs Android 14-based HiOS 14.5, which comes with several AI features, including AIGC portrait, AI cutout, AI magic eraser, Ask AI, and more.

For optics, the Tecno Pova 6 Neo 5G boasts a 108MP primary rear camera sensor with an f/1.89 aperture and a secondary AI lens. Up front, the phone uses an 8MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The Tecno Pova 6 Neo also features a 3.5mm audio jack, side-mounted fingerprint reader, and stereo speakers. It is IP54 rated to resist splashes of water and dust.
