TECNO POVA Curve 5G Launched in India: Check Price, Specs

TECNO has launched its latest mid-range device, the POVA Curve 5G, in India. With a curved AMOLED display, India-first AI features, and a large battery packed into a slim frame, the phone is designed to cater to users who want a futuristic-looking smartphone with some practical enhancements for everyday use.

A Curved Design with Everyday Durability

At just 7.45mm thick, the POVA Curve 5G is one of the slimmest curved smartphones in its price range. The device features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 55° arc and a 93.8% screen-to-body ratio, designed to feel premium without becoming difficult to handle. The screen also supports wet-hand touch functionality, which should help in humid or unpredictable weather.

Available in three colors: Magic Silver, Neon Cyan, and Geek Black—the phone borrows its aesthetic inspiration from TECNO’s “starship design language,” aimed at younger, style-conscious users.

The POVA Curve 5G introduces several AI-powered tools that aim to simplify communication and multitasking. Many of these are optimized for Indian users, offering support for regional languages and situations common in everyday Indian life.

The 5500mAh battery is paired with 45W fast charging, taking the phone from 0 to 50% in 15 minutes and to 100% in 45 minutes. TECNO says the battery is certified for 1800+ charging cycles under TÜV Rheinland’s long-range certification, meaning it should hold up for several years of daily use.

Availability, Pricing, and Pre-Booking Offers

The 6GB + 128GB variant will be sold exclusively through Flipkart at ₹15,999, while the 8GB + 128GB model will retail offline for ₹16,999. TECNO is also offering pre-booking incentives, including screen replacement coverage, extended warranties, and the chance to win prizes such as a Royal Enfield bike or scooter.

Offline buyers can additionally avail no-cost EMI plans for up to 10 months, bringing the daily cost down to around ₹57 per day, depending on the terms.
