TECNO SPARK 50s 5G Budget Smartphone Launched In India: Check Price, Specifications, Features

TECNO has launched the SPARK 50s 5G in India with a clear focus on users who want stronger connectivity, long battery life and a tougher build without moving deep into premium pricing. The phone starts at Rs. 19,999 and will be available through offline retail stores from October 20, 2026.

The launch comes at a time when several entry and mid-range 5G phones are facing price pressure because of higher memory and component costs. TECNO is positioning the SPARK 50s 5G as a practical daily-use handset, rather than a camera-first or gaming-focused device.

TECNO SPARK 50s 5G Price in India and Availability

The TECNO SPARK 50s 5G is priced at Rs. 19,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model costs Rs. 22,999. The phone will be sold exclusively through offline retail stores across India, with two colour options: Burgundy Red and Breeze Blue.

The offline-only strategy is notable because the phone’s pitch is aimed at buyers who may prefer seeing the device before purchase. It also targets users in smaller cities and retail-led markets, where battery capacity, service support and network performance often matter more than benchmark scores.

TECNO SPARK 50s 5G Specifications & Features

The TECNO SPARK 50s 5G features 4x4 MIMO antenna technology, which the company claims can deliver up to 82% faster downloads under supported conditions. UPS 3.0 aims to improve UPI transaction speeds in low-signal areas, while FreeLink enables offline voice calls, texts and image sharing over distances of up to 1.5km in unobstructed conditions.

The phone supports 5G SA/NSA across multiple bands, dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3 and USB Type-C.

It sports a 6.78-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Powering the device is the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset with Mali-G57 MC2 graphics, LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, expandable by up to 2TB via microSD.

The SPARK 50s 5G packs a 6,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging. It measures 8.18mm thick and weighs 210g.

For photography, it gets a 50MP rear camera with an f/1.85 aperture and an 8MP front camera. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack and dual SIM support with a dedicated microSD slot.

The device carries an IP64 Pro rating for dust and splash resistance and MIL-STD-810H durability certification. It runs Android 16 with HiOS 16 and offers AI Noise Cancellation, Google Gemini integration and Circle to Search.
