The ZUK Z1 is a special edition smartphone with Oak wood back cover

Lenovo backed Zuk has introduced a limited edition phone, the ZUK Z1. The ZUK Z1 is now launched as a limited edition phone that comes with a back cover made of oak wood. The Phone is currently available only in China at the moment and is priced at 1799 yuan or approximately Rs. 17000. The exotic material on the back cover is going to cost $ 100 more than the original version.

The oak wood used for the special edition phone originates from the Appalachian Mountains in the US. The wood used in the phone's back cover does not have any major changes like dyeing or coatings and the wood is just as it is and been carved to be fit for the back cover.

The ZUK Z1 comes with the same 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen, 13 MP rear camera, 8 MP selfie camera and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 64GB inbuilt storage, as well as the big 4,100 mAh battery to make the phone run longer than usual and also has a Android 5.1.1 Lollipop to stay updated.
