These Flagship Smartphones Performed the Best in May 2024, According to AnTuTu

AnTuTu recently released a list of the best-performing flagship smartphones in May 2024. Flagship smartphones using chips from both Qualcomm and MediaTek dominated the list, although it was the Vivo X100s with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC, which took top spot.

MediaTek recently released a faster version of its Dimensity 9300 chip unveiled in November last year. The chip first made its debut on the Vivo X100s series, although it was the vanilla Viv X100s and not the Vivo X100s Pro, which made it to the top.

It is worth noting that the score of 2,105,621 achieved by the Vivo X100s falls short of the 2,114,732 points scored by the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, which led the pack in April 2024. The Nubia Red Magic 9 Pro+ was the first of the five Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 smartphones on the list, coming in at third.

Additionally, the vanilla MediaTek Dimensity 9300 helped the OPPO Find X7 and the Vivo X100 Pro to the second and fifth spot, respectively, showing its versatility when it comes to raw performance. The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro was the only foldable smartphone on the list, placing in 8th.

To recall, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is set to make its debut in India on June 6 and will be the first foldable smartphone in the country to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The list also shows MediaTek has bridged the gap with Qualcomm in terms of raw performance on the flagship side, although the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 puts more emphasis on AI performance.
