These Samsung Galaxy Models Are Eligible for One UI 7 Update in India – Is Your Device on the List?

Samsung’s One UI 7 is finally here, and it’s making its way to a growing list of Galaxy phones and tablets. After a bit of a delayed start, the rollout began in early April, with Samsung's flagship models like the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 being the first to receive the new update.

Now, as May wrapping up, the update list is expanding rapidly, and if you’re holding onto a mid-range or budget Samsung phone, there’s good news—you might not have to wait much longer.

The Early Adopters

Samsung initially planned to kick off the One UI 7 rollout on April 7 in India, but that deadline slipped a bit. Despite the delay, Samsung quickly picked up the pace, launching the update on the Galaxy S24 series, followed by the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. These were the only three models originally scheduled for April, but in typical Samsung fashion, the rollout extended to even more devices by the end of the month.

Models like the Galaxy Tab S10 series, Galaxy S23 lineup, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5 were surprisingly added to the list, putting Samsung slightly ahead of its own schedule. It’s a promising sign for users of older models waiting in line.

Who's Already Running One UI 7?

As of now, Samsung has updated a hefty list of Galaxy phones and tablets to One UI 7, all based on Android 15. If you own a recent flagship, you’re likely already enjoying the new features. The S24, S23, S22, and even the S21 series have all made the cut. Fan Edition (FE) models like the S24 FE, S23 FE, and S21 FE are also covered.

For foldable lovers, Samsung wasn’t shy about updating its Z series. The Z Fold SE, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Z Fold 5, Flip 5, Z Fold 4, Flip 4, and even the older Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 have all received the software bump.

Samsung’s tablet lineup didn’t get left behind either. The Galaxy Tab S10+, S10 Ultra, S9, S9+, S9 Ultra, as well as the S8, S8+, and S8 Ultra, are already running One UI 7.

What’s Coming in June?

Samsung isn’t done yet. June is looking like a busy month for One UI 7. A huge wave of A-series devices is slated to receive the update, including the Galaxy A16 5G, A35 5G, A55 5G, A34 5G, and even budget models like the A05s and A15 5G. It’s not just the A-series that’s getting attention; the M-series is on deck too. Devices like the Galaxy M16 5G, M35 5G, M55 5G, and M14 5G are part of the rollout.

Samsung’s F-series is also in line for the upgrade, with models such as the F16 5G, F55 5G, and F34 5G scheduled for June. Even the rugged Galaxy XCover 7 is set to join the One UI 7 family. On the tablet side, the Galaxy Tab A9+ and its 5G variant are confirmed for the update, with the Galaxy Tab A9 potentially getting it a bit earlier than its July schedule.

How to Check for the Update

If you’re eager to jump onto One UI 7, it’s worth checking your device manually. Just head to Settings > Software updates and tap Download and install. Samsung’s rollout tends to happen in phases, so not everyone gets it at the same time. If you don’t see the update just yet, it’s likely around the corner.
