Google launched its flagships Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL on Wednesday. It's been only a day since the launch of the Pixel 2 and the retailer website called Best Buy is already offering a discount of $100 (approx. Rs. 6,500) on the smartphone.
There is a catch though. This offer is only valid for customers who buy it through monthly installments. Not only, the Pixel 2, the price of the Pixel 2 XL is also discounted by $25 (approx. Rs. 1,600). For those who are not aware, the Google Pixel 2 is priced at $649 (approx. Rs. 42,200) for its 64GB variant, while the starting price of the Pixel 2 XL is $849 (approx. Rs. 55,250).
Both the smartphones are exclusively available via Verizon in the US. The unlocked edition of the devices can be availed through Google Store in the US. Notably, these unlocked versions arrive with e-SIM for Project Fi subscribers. Due to this, users will be able to easily switch between different networks.
One thing we must mention is that the $100 discount is only applicable to the Verizon variant of the Google Pixel 2. So those who want avail this discount will have to subscribe to Verizon's installment plan.
While the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are already up for pre-order, shipping will start from October 19. Those who are pre-ordering the smartphones will get a Google Home Mini speaker for free.
In India, the pre-orders for the devices, however, will begin from October 26. The Pixel 2 will be priced at Rs. 61,000 for the 64GB variant and Rs. 70,000 for the 128GB variant. The Pixel 2 XL will be sold at Rs. 73,000 for the 64GB variant and Rs. 82,000 for the 128GB variant.
The Pixel 2 will be available from November 1 and the Pixel 2 will be available from November 15. These smartphones will be available via Flipkart and will be available from over 1,000 retail stores PAN India.
