Three Alcatel smartphones leaked with renders and features
Alactel will launch the smartphones at the IFA Berlin 2017.
There are only a few days left till the IFA Berlin 2017, which is to start from September 1 onwards. Usually, manufacturers consider this event as an occasion to showcase their new offerings. The Chinese company Alcatel is no exception.
Rumors have it, we will see the unveiling of half a dozen Alcatel branded smartphones at the upcoming IFA. Thanks to the website named mobiltelefon.ru, we have come to know the specs of some of these smartphones. What's more, the website has even posed a couple of renders. Judging from the specifications, the smartphones are aimed at the budget and mid-range segments.
Let's begin with the Alcatel A7 XL; the device has earned its name because of its large 6-inch IPS LCD display. The display offers a pixel resolution of 720p and it is covered by a 2.5D curved glass for better protection. Unfortunately, the rear panel of the smartphone is now shown in the images, there will be dual cameras. The camera setup will consist of one 12MP and one 2MP sensor.
Moving on, there is the Alcatel A3 Plus, which will be offered in both 3G and 4G variants. It is likely that they will be powered by different processors, though we have got no confirmation yet. Display-wise, the smartphone will come with a 5.5-inch screen with 720p pixel density.
It is unclear why the 3G version of the device will sport a fingerprint scanner, while the Alcatel A3 Plus's 4G version will come without it. However, there is a possibility that the latter's physical Home button will double function as the Biometric touch ID.
Lastly, there is the Alcatel U5 HD, which is bestowed with a relatively smaller 5-inch display. Just like the other two, its display will also offer a pixel density of 720p. Software-wise, the smartphone will come pre-installed with Android 7.0 Nougat. In addition, the phone will have a special selfie feature.
Well, as of now, this is all we know about the smartphones. In any case, the IFA 2017 is going to start soon.
