Qualcomm's Snapdragon processors have become quite famous as most tech giants use them in their devices. As the name suggest, they are comparatively fast and help smartphones, tablets and other devices to perform smoothly. The Snapdragon 810 processor has been hitting the news spot for a long time now, as it promises a great deal of technology when smartphones are the concern.

Now the company is working on the next generation of processor dubbed as Snapdragon 820. The processors is said to be unveiled in the second half of this year. Here are the smartphones that will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 820 SoC. Have a look at the slider below.

LG's next flagship, the LG G4 Pro is expected to come with 5.8-inch display, with a resolution of 1440 x 2560, Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB of internal storage, 27MP rear camera, 8MP front camera.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 is rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC and paired with 4GB of RAM. The Mi 5 will be among the first few smartphones to be powered by Snapdragon 820 SoC and will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with MIUI on top and pack a 3030mAh battery.

Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Mstar is planning to launch a new smartphone powered by the 64-bit Snapdragon 820 SoC with 3GHz clock speed. Mstar S700 Pro will sport a 5.5-inch 2.5D glass 2K display with 1440x2560 pixels resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

HTC is planning to release the HTC Aero claimed as "hero phone" in the fourth quarter of this year. The smartphone is said to be powered by the Snapdragon's upcoming 820 chipset.

It seems the Japanese handset company Sony doesnt want to get off the hype when it comes to its next flagship smartphone. The company is now working on its next flagship mobile, dubbed as Xperia Z5, which will be unveiled before the IFA 2015, Berlin on September 4. According to report, Sony will be powered by the Snapdragon 820 SoC.
