Several Gionee phones have been spotted listed on TENAA's website in the past couple of months.Two new handsets have been certifed by the Chinese agency. The two devices spotted on the devices carry model number GN9010L and GN5001S.
The TENAA listing reveals that the handset having model number GN9010L is powered by a 1.3Ghz octa-core CPU. The GN9010L has a 5.5" screen with AMOLED display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. On the rear, the device has either a 13MP or a 8MP camera, while on the front, the device has a 5MP Camera. The device has a dimension of 151.9×74.6×6.9 mm and weighs 145.2 grams. The GN9010L runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. It will be available in silver and gold colors.
The GN5001S on the other hand is a low-end device. It has a 5" screen TFT display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.3Ghz quad-core CPU. It has a 1GB ram and a 16GB internal memory that is expandable. On the rear, the device has a 8MP camera while on the front, the device has a 5MP selfie shooter. The device weighs 185 grams and has measures in a dimension of 143 × 69.9 × 86.5 mm. The GN5001S also runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. The device is listed to be available in black and gold color options.
Both the devices are yet to be announced and any announcement from Gionee can be expected only as early as 2016.
