Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi has been in news for its upcoming Mi 5 smartphone. The company has been riding high on success of its flagship Mi 4 ever since its launch last year, and has not launched any new flagship in the Mi series. Now, an unannounced Xiaomi device with codename "gemini" has been spotted on Geekbench's benchmarking site, giving us a look at its hardware specifications.

Going by the specification details revealed by the benchmarking suite, this mysterious Xioami smartphone seem to be flagship-level smartphone with high-end features. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 820 chipset with 64-bit architecture and quad-core, which is Qualcomm's new flagship chip. The CPU will be supported with the Adreno 530 GPU, which as per Qualcomm will be much better in performance and capable of delivering "photorealistic" graphics.

Besides processor, Geekbench also reveals the amount of memory to be 3GB instead of 4GB. The phone will offer Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box.

The benchmarks result shows that Xiaomi Gemini scored 4762 on multi core, which shows that the phone will be a powerful performer, but not the best out there.

While the specifications details suggest this could be the much rumored Xiaomi Mi 5 variant, who knows this might even come out to be a different handset all together.
