Vivo iQOO Neo With Snapdragon 855+ SoC Shows Up On AnTuTu Benchmarks
Vivo's flagship iQOO series was introduced earlier this year and was extended with the launch of the iQOO Neo series. We recently came across a leaked Vivo smartphone with V1936AL model number on the Android Enterprise website listing which was said to be a new iQOO Neo variant. It seems that Vivo might be working on the suggested handset as it has been now spotted on the benchmarking platform AnTuTu as well.
Vivo iQOO Neo Spotted On AnTuTu
The smartphone has been spotted with the same V1936AL model number on AnTuTu and the hardware listed corroborates with previous leaks. The upcoming Vivo iQOO Neo has appeared with the Snapdragon 855+ mobile chipset which is currently being used by some of the popular flagships like the OnePlus 7T series and the Asus ROG II.
The AnTuTu listing further suggests 12GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. In the software department, the device is likely to come pre-loaded with Android Pie OS. The device is said to offer an FHD+ display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution; however, the size of the panel is unknown.
Notably, the previous leaks suggested a 6.38-inch panel with a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. As for the benchmark scores, the Vivo iQOO Neo 855+ scored 503,734 points. The device might come with an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.
The Vivo iQOO Neo 855+ is said to measure 159.53x75.23x8.13mm and offer thin bezels surrounding the display. The handset is likely to get its fuel from a 4,420 mAh battery with 22.5W fast-charging support.
It is currently not revealed how many camera sensors will the iQOO Neo 855+ sport. The standard variant that launched earlier offers a triple-rear camera module. The sensors on the standard variant are a 12MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with 120-degree FoV, and a 2MP depth sensor. So, we can expect at least a triple-lens rear camera setup on the upcoming model.
Vivo has not revealed any information on the new iQOO 855+ variant and all the information revealed is via online leaks. It remains to be seen if the company introduces the device this year or later in 2020.
