Vivo Launches V40 Lite 5G And V40 Lite 4G Smartphones; Offers 120Hz AMOLED Display and Snapdragon Processor

Vivo has unveiled its V40 Lite 5G and V40 Lite 4G smartphones in Indonesia. Both models share similar features except for the camera and processor. Let's check the features and pricing of both models.

Vivo V40 Lite 5G And V40 Lite 4G Specifications

The Vivo V40 Lite series offers a 6.67-inch Full HD+ E4 AMOLED screen with up to 1800 nits peak brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phones are designed to resist dust and splash with an IP64 rating. The display incorporates wet-touch technology for rainwater resistance. The 4G variant is equipped with the Snapdragon 685 SoC, while the 5G version uses the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC.

Both models provide options of either 8GB or 12GB LPDDR4x RAM, paired with storage capacities of either 128GB or 256GB UFS storage, expandable up to an additional terabyte via microSD card. They support hybrid dual SIM configurations.

The devices are slim at just 7.79mm thick and boast a 2.5D Metallic Frame. They come with a main camera of 50MP Sony IMX882, complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide lens for the 5G model, whereas the 4G model includes a simpler 2MP camera. Both models pack 5000mAh batteries with support for 80W fast charging.

Running on Android's latest version with Funtouch OS, these phones include an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity options encompass dual VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C audio capabilities.

Pricing and Availability

The Vivo V40 Lite 5G price in Indonesia starts at IDR 4,299,000 (around Rs 23,000) for the 8GB/ 256GB model, while the Vivo V40 Lite 4G starts at IDR 3,599,000 (around Rs 20,000) for the 8GB/ 128GB storage option. Both models are available in Titanium Silver, Pearl Violet, and Carbon Black colours. These smartphones are open for pre-orders in Indonesia.
