Vivo S18 Pro Camera Specifications Confirmed ahead of December 14 Launch

Vivo recently confirmed the launch date of the X100 series globally, which is scheduled to take place on December 14. However, on a separate note, the Vivo S18 series will also be arriving on December 14 in China.

The line-up will include the Vivo S18, Vivo S18 Pro, and Vivo S18e. Additionally, the Vivo TWS 3e true wireless earbuds will also be unveiled alongside the Vivo S18 series.

Vivo S18 Series Launch

The Vivo S18 series launch date in China is set for December 14. The event will start from 07:00 pm local time or 04:30 pm IST. As of now, there is no official date, although the Vivo S18 series will debut as the Vivo V30 or V31 series globally.

Vivo has already set up a microsite for the Vivo S18 series in China. In a more recent development, the smartphone maker revealed camera details about the Vivo S18 Pro.

The microsite confirms that the Vivo S18 Pro will feature a triple-camera setup with a 50 MP VCS Sony IMX920 primary sensor with OIS. The main camera will be paired with a 50 MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens with an f/2.0 aperture and a 12 MP Sony IMX663 telephoto portrait sensor.

The Vivo S18 Pro incorporates VCS and portrait algorithms from the Vivo X100 series but loses out on the Zeiss optics. The box shaped camera island also houses a square ring LED light. Up front, the Vivo S18 Pro will opt for a 50 MP selfie camera with dual soft lights.

Moreover, the Vivo S18 Pro is also confirmed to use the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC. The Vivo S18 Pro is also expected to feature a curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset will also pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The Vivo S18 series will be unveiled in Black, Grey, and Feather White color options.
