Vivo S19 Series Set to Launch on May 30; What to Expect?

The Vivo S19 series is the talk of the town for several days. Now, the brand has officially announced the launch date for the Vivo S19 series in China. Here's what to expect from the upcoming Vivo phones.

Vivo S19 Series Launch Date Confirmed

The Vivo S19 series will be launching on May 30 in China, likely comprising the Vivo S19e, Vivo S19, and the Vivo S19 Pro. Earlier, Vivo's Vice President shared a few details of both the standard Vivo S19 and the S19 Pro.

Moreover, the Vivo S19 series was also spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database, revealing their processor. Let's take a look at the features of the Vivo S19 series that we know so far.

Vivo S19 Series Features We Know So Far

The Vivo S19 Pro is confirmed to feature a 50MP Sony IMX921 sensor paired with another 50MP Sony telephoto camera with support for 50× digital zoom and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. Upfront, it could use a 50MP sensor.

It is expected to have a 6.78-inch curved-OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. The device might come with MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM. The Vivo S19 Pro could also pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

On the other side, the standard Vivo S19 is likely to feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and pack a massive 6000 mAh battery. Apart from this nothing is known at this moment. Also, there is no information regarding if the brand has any plan to launch the Vivo S19 series outside China.

Moreover, Vivo is also expected to launch the Vivo Watch GT on the same day. The features of the upcoming Vivo watch are still under wraps; however, the teaser image revealed it will feature a square display. Stay tuned for the official announcement on May 30.
