Vivo has officially announced two new premium mid-range smartphones in China. The Vivo S19 and Vivo S19 Pro are the latest entrants to the S series and will likely make their debut as the next V series smartphones globally.

The Vivo S19 series puts the emphasis on sleek design, portrait photography, a vibrant display, and performance. The Vivo S19 series also comes with the company's Blue Heart AI model.

Vivo S19 Price in China

The Vivo S19 price in China is set at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs 29,000) for the base 8GB/256GB model. The Vivo S19 is offered in Peach Blossom Fan, Misty Blue, and Pine Smoke Ink color options.

Vivo S19 Pro Price in China

The Vivo S19 Pro price in China starts from CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs 38,350) for the base 8GB/256GB variant. The Vivo S19 Pro is offered in Thousands of Green Mountains (Green), Misty Blue, and Sword Shadow Gray shades.

Vivo S19 Pro Specifications

The Vivo S19 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC paired with the Immortal-G715. The handset comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone also packs a 5,500 mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support.

The Vivo S19 Pro sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K Curved AMOLED display. The screen features a 120Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. On the back, the Vivo S19 Pro boasts a triple-camera setup with a 50 MP primary Sony IMX921 sensor with OIS, VCS Bionic technology, and an f/1.88 aperture.

The main camera is paired with a 50 MP anti-shake telephoto unit with an f/1.85 aperture and OIS as well as an 8 MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture. The rear camera setup features five different focal lengths. Up front, the Vivo S19 Pro opts for a 50 MP selfie camera with self-developed AI face correction technology and autofocus.

The Vivo S19 Pro also boasts a 50000mm2 heat dissipation area. The phone runs Android 14-based Origin OS 4.0. The Vivo S19 Pro also features Wi-Fi 7, NFC, stereo speakers, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Vivo S19 Pro weighs 192 grams and measures 7.58mm thick. The phone also features an IP68 and IP69 double water-resistance rating.

The vanilla Vivo S19 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, the same chip powering the Vivo V30 (Review). The phone comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It is worth noting that the 8GB/256GB variant comes with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.

The Vivo S19 features similar display specifications as its 'Pro' counterpart, although the vanilla model uses a flat panel. The S19 also packs a 6,000 mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support. The vanilla S19 also has a smaller 3000mm2 VC seat sink. The phone runs Android 14-based Origin OS 4.0.

For optics, the Vivo S19 gets a dual-camera setup with a 50 MP primary 'ultra-shake-resistant' main camera. Like the Vivo S19 Pro, the vanilla variant also features self-developed OIS and Camera-Level Image Stabilization (CIPA 4.0).

The Vivo S19 also has a downgraded 8 MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture. Up front, the Vivo S19 features a 50 MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The Vivo S19 weighs 193 grams and measures 7.19 mm thick.
