Vivo S20 Series Launch Date Set for November 28: Vivo S20 Pro Chipset, Periscope Camera Confirmed
The Vivo S20 series has got an official launch date in China. The Vivo S20 series succeeds last year's S19 line-up. It will include the Vivo S20 and S20 Pro, which will be rebranded as the Vivo V50 and V50 Pro in India and globally.
Ahead of the launch, Vivo shared a short teaser video revealing the design of the S20 series. The teaser reveals the design, colours, and camera layout of the Vivo S20 and S20 Pro.

Vivo S20 Series Launch Date
The Vivo S20 series launch date in China is set for November 28 at 07:00 pm local time or 04:30 pm IST. The Vivo S20 and Vivo S20 Pro will make their international debut as the Vivo V50 and Vivo V50 Pro. As of now, the company hasn't shared a livestream link for the Vivo S20 series but stay tuned to Gizbot for more information.
Vivo has also confirmed the colour options for the S20 series. The Vivo S20 will come in Wind Feather Gold, Jade Dew White, and Pink Smoke Ink shades. On the other hand, the Vivo S20 Pro will arrive in Purple Qi Comes from the East, Pine Smoke Ink, and Wind Feather Gold.
Vivo S20 Series: What we know so Far!
Apart from the colour, the design of the Vivo S20 series has also been revealed on the official event page. Moreover, the Vivo S20 is confirmed to feature a massive 6,500 mAh battery, while measuring just 7.19mm thick. Moreover, the Vivo S20 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimenisty 9300+ SoC.

Additionally, the Vivo S20 will opt for a dual-camera setup with OIS support on the main camera, while the S20 Pro will come with a triple-camera setup. However, the Vivo S20 Pro will also get a 50MP Sony telephoto-periscope lens with 100x digital zoom, marking the first time a periscope shooter will be used on the S series.
Vivo S20, Vivo S20 Pro: What to Expect?

The Vivo S20 series is also expected to sport a 1.5K BOE Q10 OLED display. Moreover, the vanilla S20 will run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 or the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 mobile platform. The Vivo S20 will likely feature a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP ultrawide shooter. Apart from the periscope lens, the Vivo S20 Pro could also opt for a 50MP primary sensor and 50MP ultrawide lens.
The Vivo S20 series is expected to support 80W wired fast charging, while the 'Pro' variant could pack a 5,500 mAh battery. The Vivo S20 series is also expected to feature an IP68 or IP69 rating for resistance against dust and water. Stay tune to Gizbot for more details about the Vivo S20 series.
