Vivo S20, Vivo S20 Pro Launching Today: What to Expect? How to Watch the Livestream?

The Vivo S20 series is all set to make its debut in China today. The line-up will include the Vivo S20 and Vivo S20 Pro, which will make their global and Indian debut as the Vivo V50 and Vivo V50 Pro.

Ahead of the launch, Vivo has also confirmed the design and colour options for the S20 series. Additionally, Vivo has also revealed key specifications of the S20 and S20 Pro.

Vivo S20 Series Launch in China

The Vivo S20 series is launching in China later today at 07:00 pm local time or 04:30 pm IST. Following the launch, we expect the Vivo S20 series to launch in India as the Vivo V50 series in Q1 2025. The launch event for the Vivo S20 series will likely be streamed live on Weibo.

The Vivo S20 series will sit right under the company's flagship X200 series in terms of pricing. The Vivo S20 will come in Wind Feather Gold, Jade Dew White, and Pink Smoke Ink shades. On the other hand, the Vivo S20 Pro will arrive in Purple Qi Comes from the East, Pine Smoke Ink, and Wind Feather Gold.

Vivo S20 Pro Specifications

The Vivo S20 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC. The Vivo S20 Pro will also sport a Q10 curved OLED display by BOE with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. The handset will run Android 15-based OriginOS 5.

For optics, the Vivo S20 Pro will feature a triple-camera setup on the back with a large 50MP bionic primary sensor with OIS. The main camera will be paired with a 50MP ultrawide lens and for the first time on the S series, a 50MP periscope-telephoto unit. Up front, the Vivo S20 Pro opts for a 50MP selfie camera.

Vivo S20 Specifications

The Vivo S20 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. The phone will pack a massive 6,500 mAh battery in a slim 7.19mm chassis. The Vivo S20 will feature the same display specs as the S20 Pro, although the former will use a flat panel.
