Vivo S30, S30 Pro mini Launched with Snapdragon and MediaTek Chips, 50MP Periscope Camera, 6500 mAh Batteries

The Vivo S30 series has officially made its debut in China. The line-up includes the Vivo S30 and S30 Pro Mini. As of now, there is no official information, but the Vivo S30 will likely be rebranded as the Vivo V60 globally. Here's a look at the full pricing and specifications of the Vivo S30 series.

Vivo S30 Specifications

The Vivo S30 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset paired with the Adreno 722 GPU. Moreover, the phone comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Vivo S30 runs Android 15-based on OriginOS 5 out of the box. It also features a massive 6,500 mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support.

The Vivo S30 sports a 6.67-inch 1.5K flat AMOLED display with 3840Hz high frequency PWM dimming and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. The screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and supports HDR10+ content. The device also packs stereos speakers with Hi-Res audio support and an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.

For optics, the Vivo S30 boasts a triple-camera setup with a 50MP Sony LYT-700V primary sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and OIS support. The main camera is paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope-telephoto shooter with an f/2.65 aperture and 3x optical zoom. Up front, it also features a 50MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture and autofocus. Moreover, the phone also has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Vivo S30 Pro mini is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset paired with the Immortalis-G720 GPU, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It runs Android 15 with OriginOS 5 out of the box and packs a massive 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast wired charging.

Up front, the Vivo S30 Pro mini features a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and an impressive peak brightness of 5,000 nits. It also offers 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for better eye comfort. Additional highlights include stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio, an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, and an IP68+IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

In the camera department, the S30 boasts a triple rear setup led by a 50MP Sony LYT-700V primary sensor with OIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope-telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. On the front, there's a high-resolution 50MP selfie camera with autofocus. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and more.

The Vivo S30 price in China starts from CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs 32,000) for the base 12GB/256GB model. Additionally, the smartphone also comes in 12GB/512GB and 16GB/512GB configurations that will set you back CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs 35,550) and CNY 3,2999 (roughly Rs 39,150), respectively.
