Vivo S30, Vivo S30 Pro Mini Launch Date Set for May 29: Check Design, Colour Options, Expected Specifications

Vivo is gearing up to unveil new smartphones in its S series this month. The Vivo S30 series will succeed last year's Vivo's S20 series and will likely be rebranded as the Vivo V60 line-up globally.

Vivo S30 Series Launch Date

The Vivo S30 series launch date in China is set for May 29. The latest additions to the S series will include the Vivo S30 and Vivo S30 Pro mini, although the smartphone maker is also launching the Vivo Pad 5 and Vivo TWS Air 3 alongside the two S30 series phones.

The upcoming Vivo S30 Pro mini is set to replace the standard Pro model from last year. It will feature a 6.31-inch flat display and a substantial 6500mAh battery. This model is expected to have a similar thickness to the iPhone 16 Pro, as revealed by an image shared by Ouyang Weifeng, Vivo China's Product VP.

Vivo has also confirmed the colour options for the S30 series, which includes Peach Pink, Cool Berry Pink, Mint Green, Lemon Yellow, and Cocoa Black.

Vivo S30 Series: What to Expect!

The Vivo S30 will come with a larger 6.67-inch flat screen. It promises to maintain an ultra-thin design while being visually appealing. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (SM7750) SoC, which is an upgrade from the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 used in previous models like the S18, S19, and S20.

Both the Vivo S30 and S30 Pro mini will include a robust 6500mAh battery. Additionally, they are expected to feature a 50MP IMX882 periscope telephoto camera, enhancing their photographic capabilities significantly.

The MediaTek Dimensity 9400e processor will power the Vivo S30 Pro mini. This choice of processor aims to deliver efficient performance for users. Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 in the Vivo S30 is anticipated to offer improved processing power over its predecessors.
