Vivo S5 Confirmed To Arrive On November 14th: Specifications And Price

Vivo has recently confirmed that its next device in the S-series -- Vivo S5 will launch on November 14th. However, the brand hasn't revealed any specifications of the device. But, it is believed that the new handset will be coming with triple rear cameras including a 48MP primary sensor, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and an AMOLED screen panel.

Expected Specs, Price Of Vivo S5

The Vivo S5 could come with a 6.44-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. It might get powered by the Snapdragon 712 SoC based on a 10nm mobile platform, paired with Adreno 616 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB ROM options. Apart from a 48MP primary sensor, the phone also sports an 8MP wide-angle camera lens and a 5MP depth sensor at the rear. At the front, it might house a 32MP selfie snapper.

The smartphone will ship with Android 9 Pie based on Funtouch OS 9. In terms of connectivity, it will be coming with a 3.5mm audio jack, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. It is likely to pack a 4,200 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support. The handset is rumored to launch in blue, green and pink color options. Lastly, its price is supposed to be less than 2000 yuan which could somewhat be around Rs. 20,110.

Earlier, the company launched the Vivo S1 Pro which came with a 6.39-inch display, 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM options. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 675 processor. Its camera configuration is the same as we are expecting for the S5 device.

It ships with a 3,700 mAh battery backup. It is available for sale in Love Blue and Coral Red colors. It must be noted that the device is not going to release in the Indian market.
