Vivo S50 Series Launch Confirmed to Take Place Next Month: S50 Pro Mini Could Debut as Vivo X300 FE in India

The Vivo X300 series is scheduled to debut in India on December 2, alongside the Zeiss Telephoto Extender Kit. Meanwhile, Vivo is gearing up for the launch of the Vivo S50 series in China. Recently, new Vivo devices, likely the Vivo S50 and Vivo S50 Pro Mini, appeared on certification sites. These models are anticipated to follow the Vivo 30 lineup, which was released in May.

Vivo has discreetly announced that the S50 series will be introduced in China this December. Instead of a grand announcement, a pre-reservation page was published to confirm the launch timeline. The exact date is expected to be revealed soon.

Vivo S50 Series Launch Details

In China, customers can already express their interest in the new series. Vivo is also hosting a small lucky draw where participants might win a Vivo S50, a 500 yuan travel voucher, a surprise gift, or Vivo points, as indicated by the microsite.

The company has not yet disclosed how many devices will be part of this lineup or their specific names. However, earlier leaks suggest that we can expect a base model called Vivo V50 along with a Vivo S50 Pro Mini model.

These are anticipated successors to the Vivo S30 and Vivo S30 Pro Mini. Moreover, the Vivo S50 Pro Mini could be unveiled as the Vivo X300 FE in India.

Expected Specifications and Features

Recently, two smartphones from Vivo with model numbers V2527A and V2528A were spotted on the SRRC website. These are believed to be the upcoming Vivo S50 and Vivo S50 Pro Mini models. They are expected to operate on Android 16-based OriginOS 6.

The standard version of the Vivo S50 is rumoured to feature a 6.59-inch flat 1.5K OLED display with a metal frame. It may include a triple rear camera setup with a periscope telephoto lens and run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip.

The smaller variant, known as the Vivo S50 Pro Mini, might come with a 6.31-inch flat 1.5K OLED screen and be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. It is also expected to have a battery capacity exceeding 6,040mAh and feature a similar triple camera system with periscope zoom capabilities.

As anticipation builds for these launches, fans are eager to see how these new models will enhance their smartphone experience with advanced features and specifications.
