Vivo T2 5G India Launch Confirmed: Check Specs And Features Of Mid-Range Android Smartphone

Vivo has announced that it will launch the Vivo T2 5G next week in India. The mid-range 5G-enabled Android smartphone has been confirmed to feature a Full HD+ AMOLED screen optimized for entertainment and outdoor visibility.

The Vivo T2 5G succeeds the Vivo T1 5G Android smartphone launched last year. Vivo's teaser posters of the upcoming smartphone offer a glimpse of its design and highlight some key specifications. Let's look at all the available information about Vivo's upcoming mid-range Android smartphone.

Vivo T2 5G Launch Date And Availability Confirmed

Vivo started teasing the arrival of the Vivo T2 5G series smartphones a few days ago. Now, the brand has confirmed the Vivo T2 5G will launch on April 11, 12 PM in India.

The Vivo T2 5G previously surfaced on Google Play Console. Soon after, a microsite for the Android smartphone went live on Flipkart. So, the Vivo T2 5G will likely be available on Flipkart and Vivo's e-Store.

Since Vivo has a strong presence in the offline retail space, the mid-range smartphone will also make its way into authorized retail outlets after its launch. A few reports suggest Vivo may price the device under ₹20,000 to boost sales.

Vivo T2 5G Expected Specifications, Features

So far, Vivo has only confirmed the display specifications of the device. The microsite confirms the Vivo T2 5G will feature an AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. It also reveals that the display will have a peak brightness of 1300 nits, a contrast ratio of 6000000:1, and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz.

As per the Google Play Console listing, the Vivo T2 5G will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. The mid-range chipset is likely to be accompanied by an Adreno 619 GPU.

Incidentally, even the Vivo T1 launched last year had the same chipset. So it looks like Vivo hasn't upgraded the chipset. The Snapdragon 695 SoC has two ARM Cortex-A78 and six ARM Cortex-A55.

The upcoming Vivo T2 5G will likely have a top-end variant with 8GB RAM. Vivo may offer other models with 4GB or 6GB RAM as well. Some reports claim that all variants will have 128GB of internal storage.

The Vivo T2 5G will be equipped with a 64MP primary camera with OIS support. There might be a triple camera setup on the back, but the specifications of the other camera lenses currently remain unknown.

Vivo is tipped to embed a 5000mAh battery inside the Vivo T2 5G. However, the fast-charging technology the smartphone could support hasn't been mentioned anywhere.
