Vivo T4 Lite Could Launch in India Soon, Hints BIS Certification: Check Expected Price and Specs

Vivo appears ready to expand its budget smartphone lineup in India with the upcoming Vivo T4 Lite.

A new listing on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website suggests the phone could make its debut in the Indian market shortly.

Vivo T4 Lite Could Launch in India Soon, Hints BIS Certification

BIS Certification Confirms India-Ready Status

The Vivo T4 Lite has been spotted on the BIS platform with the model number V2509, as reported by 91mobiles. While the listing itself doesn’t mention the name of the device, the model number aligns with earlier leaks that did, establishing a strong link between the certification and the phone in question.

In India, BIS certification is a mandatory requirement for electronic devices before they can be officially sold. This development typically comes close to launch, suggesting that Vivo may be gearing up for an official reveal soon.

Part of a Trio: T4 Lite, T4 Ultra, and More

Interestingly, the T4 Lite isn't the only Vivo device making certification rounds. It was listed alongside the Vivo T4 Ultra on the Bluetooth SIG website, another sign that Vivo could be planning a broader lineup refresh. The T4 Ultra is already confirmed to be launching in India, so it’s likely the T4 Lite will tag along as its more affordable sibling.

Earlier, three Vivo phones—T4 Lite, Y29t 5G, and Y19sGT 5G—were spotted on Google Play Console.

What Can We Expect from the Vivo T4 Lite?

Official details about the Vivo T4 Lite's specifications are still under wraps, but given that it succeeds the Vivo T3 Lite, some educated guesses can be made. The T3 Lite featured a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging.

It also carried an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance and offered a dual rear camera setup—50MP primary and 2MP secondary—alongside an 8MP selfie camera. Given this baseline, the T4 Lite may offer iterative upgrades, perhaps in processing power, charging speed, or camera enhancements.

A Budget Device in the Making

The T3 Lite launched in India at ₹10,499, placing it squarely in the entry-level 5G category. The T4 Lite is likely to follow the same pricing strategy, targeting budget-conscious users looking for basic 5G capabilities without compromising too much on design and essential features.
