Vivo T4 Ultra Tipped to Feature Dimensity 9300+, Triple Cameras with Periscope Telephoto, & 5,000-Nit Display
Vivo seems to be quietly working on the next addition to its T-series lineup. According to a report from Digit, the company is preparing to launch the Vivo T4 Ultra, a follow-up to the T3 Ultra that appears to bring meaningful hardware improvements, particularly in the camera and display departments.
While there's no official word on the launch date or pricing yet, early details suggest Vivo is aiming to give its mid-range lineup a more premium edge-without fully stepping into flagship territory.

Triple Cameras and a Periscope Lens
Perhaps the most noticeable upgrade comes in the form of a reworked camera setup. Unlike the T3 Ultra, which featured just two rear cameras (a 50MP Sony IMX921 main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide), the T4 Ultra is said to come with a more ambitious array:
- 50MP main sensor (again, Sony IMX921)
- 50MP 3x periscope telephoto lens
- 10x telephoto macro lens
- 8MP ultrawide sensor
That's a significant step up in terms of versatility. Adding a periscope lens to a mid-range phone isn't something you see often, especially in this price range. It suggests Vivo is trying to appeal to users who want more than just the basics when it comes to mobile photography.
A More Polished Display Experience
The display is also getting attention this time. According to the same source, the Vivo T4 Ultra will feature a 6.67-inch quad-curved pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is expected to hit 5,000 nits peak brightness, which is unusually high and, if accurate, would make it one of the brightest panels on a non-flagship device.
Vivo is also said to be including some form of Eye Care Certification, hinting at reduced blue light or flicker control measures-likely in response to growing concerns around eye strain from smartphone use.
Under the Hood
As for performance, the T4 Ultra is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset and could come with 8GB of RAM, running Android 15 with Vivo's FunTouchOS 15 layered on top.
While this isn't a confirmed spec sheet, it puts the phone squarely in the "upper mid-range" bracket, capable of handling most everyday tasks and even some heavier workloads like gaming or multitasking.
Battery capacity and charging speed haven't been leaked yet, but if Vivo sticks to trends, we might see something close to a 5,000mAh battery with at least 44W or 66W fast charging.
Launch Window and Pricing
There's no exact release date, but rumors suggest a launch in India sometime next month. Pricing is also speculative, though it's expected to land near the ₹34,000 mark, a slight increase over the ₹31,999 starting price of the T3 Ultra.
