Vivo T4R 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, 5700mAh Battery, IP68+IP69 Rating Launched in India

Vivo has officially unveiled a fifth smartphone in its more affordable T series in India. The Vivo T4R is the latest entrant to the company's T4 series, following the launch of the Vivo T4 5G, T4x 5G, T4 Lite 5G, and Vivo T4 Ultra (Review).

The latest Vivo T4R 5G features a MediaTek chip, a Quad Curved AMOLED display, a slim form factor, a huge battery with fast charging support, and high-res cameras with 4K video recording on the front and back.

Vivo T4R 5G Price and Offers in India

The Vivo T4R price in India starts from Rs 19,499 for the base 8GB/128GB model. Moreover, the 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB configurations will set you back Rs 21,499 and Rs 23,499, respectively. The handset is offered in Arctic White and Twilight Blue shades.

Vivo is also offering a flat discount of Rs 2,000 on users with HDFC Bank and Axis Bank cards or a flat Rs 2,000 exchange bonus on the T4R 5G. The Vivo T4R 5G will go on sale in India from August 5 at 12 noon via Flipkart, Vivo's e-store, and offline retailers.

Vivo T4R 5G Specifications

The Vivo T4R sports a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and peak brightness of 1800 nits. It's protected by SCHOTT Xensation α glass and boasts an IP68/IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, the phone comes with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM (plus 12GB virtual RAM) and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. It runs Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15 and promises two OS updates and three years of security patches.

For optics, the Vivo T4R features a dual-camera setup that includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with OIS and a 2MP depth sensor. Up front, the device features a 32MP selfie camera. The phone can record 4K video at 30fps on both the front and rear cameras. The device houses a 5700mAh battery with 44W fast charging.

Connectivity options include dual SIM (nano), 5G (n1/n3/n5/n8/n28B/n40/n77/n78), Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, Dual VoLTE, GPS, USB Type-C audio, stereo speakers, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It also meets MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standards. The phone weighs 183.5g and measures 7.39mm thick.
