Vivo to announce a full bezel-less concept smartphone at MWC 2018
Vivo APEX concept phone will be the world's first full bezel-less smartphone.
Vivo has now officially announced that it is looking forward to launching a full-screen concept phone at MWC 2018. The company has already posted official video and poster images for the event earlier showing the silhouette of the device and some other details. The name of the smartphone has been revealed and it will be called Vivo APEX.

While Vivo has not shown the device clearly but on closely analyzing it the smartphone seems to have a full bezel-less display. It furthers seems that there are almost no bezels or forehead, chin or borders at the sides. Well, this smartphone could be the first of its kind in the smartphone world.
Further, the video and the poster states, "Unlock the Future". Now, this could mean that Vivo is coming out with a border-less screen smartphone. While it may sound ambitious but it looks like Vivo will also be incorporating its under-display technology that was introduced with Vivo X20 Plus UD. We might see future Vivo phones with the same technology.

However, there is also a possibility that the Chinese phone handset maker could new and advanced technologies with this phone. Previously spy photos of an unnamed Vivo phone had been leaked and the images further showed an app icon named "Half Screen".
At the time, reports suggested that Vivo was going a step higher with the fingerprint identification technology where half of the display would be used to unlock the phone. Interestingly, another mysterious Vivo phone with an extremely high screen to body ratio was also spotted on Chinese microblogging site Weibo a few weeks back.
However, we are not saying much about the device because everything will be revealed soon. In fact, Vivo has scheduled an event tomorrow 26 February. So we should have more details on the device and whatever other things Vivo has to announce.
