Vivo U20 With 8GB RAM, 128GB Storage To Cost Rs. 17,990 Offline: Report
Vivo recently unveiled a new smartphone in its online exclusive 'U' series in India. Called the Vivo U20, the device comes as a successor to the U10 also debuted this year. The company launched the U20 in 4GB and 6GB RAM options, both of which have already gone up for sale. Rumors also suggested an 8GB RAM variant in the making; expected to launch on December 12. Now, the official pricing of the device has been leaked.

The Vivo U20, 8GB RAM+ 128GB storage RAM model will have a MOP of Rs. 17,990, cites a report from 91Mobiles. Notably, the device was earlier tipped to come with MRP of Rs. 18,990. Also, the company is going to make this device available via offline stores in India.
For reference, the U series was introduced as an online exclusive series. And with the company opting for a different sales strategy, it could be a move to boost sales. As for the pricing of the remaining two variants, the 4GB RAM+ 64GB storage variant costs Rs. 10,990. The 6GB RAM+ 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 11,990.
Vivo U20 Hardware And Software Features
The Vivo U20 adorns a 6.51-inch display with an FHD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch which the company calls as Halo notch. The notch houses a 16MP camera to capture selfies and for video calling. At the rear, the triple-lens camera setup houses a 16MP Sony IMX499 primary sensor accompanied by an 8MP Super wide-angle-lens, and a 2MP macro lens.
The device makes use of an octa-core Snapdragon 675 processor clubbed with up to 8GB RAM. It ships with Android Pie OS and offers a custom Fun Touch user interface. For security, it has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner beside the Face Unlock feature. The Vivo U20 packs a 5,000 mAh battery that has support for 18W fast charging.
